Im making a td right, my problem is that i have based a number of my towers of a neutral passive building (the magic box), so that the towers could be built on unbuildable terrain. The problem is that my worker unit doesnt seem to be able to build them, the building just appears on red hp, and sits there (worker standing outside the building). Is there anyway to build neutral buildings? Or do i have to go back and base them off high elven guard towers? |

If the magic box can be built on unbuildable terrain and you want to build it but can't, that suggests to me that your builder unit doesn't have the right build ability. Try giving the worker a few different build abilities, one at a time. I think the undead build ability can build any of the others; try that one. |

It seems that only workers based or the aco, peon, or wisp can build neutral buildings, so ive just based the worker of the peon and it looks like the problem is solved.... |

Not sure how accurate this is, but I seem to recall that the build for humans was two sections - build a foundation then repair it to complete the building. If you want to use a peasant I think you can detect the build and then order the peasant to repair using a trigger. Not sure if this is true or not, and since I don't have my WE in front of me, I can't check. Feel free to tell me this is rubbish ;P SheepOfDoom |
