The title says it all. I believe that this has been said sometime and somewhere, but I cannot seem to find it. So does anyone have the time to give some help? |

What's your question? Q1) How to get HIGH cliffs Q2) How to get STEEP cliffs (like seen in CotN Part III)? A1) Get UMSWE3.6! It can raise terrainmuch higher normal WE can! A2) This question has been asked (and answred) many, many times! But I can't find the thread/post so I'll explain it again: - Use the raise tool to get your terrain as high as you want - Take the plateau tool, and click on the raised terrain! - TADAAA! Enjoy your beuatiful cliffs! Hope I helped you :D ~ Nuladion |

Cheers, Nullie. :D And another question, is the models/skins/custom filters automaticlly saved in the map or is there some fancy stuff I have do to get the models/skins/custom filters in the game without having the War3Patch.mpq file? EDIT: I currently have UMSWE 3.5, is that good enough? Because they say they're closing down the site... |

Here's UMSWE3.6! [Edit: It's ~3.6 MB so I can't attach it here! Look in the downloads section, else search for it on Google!] To get models/skins/fade filters ingame, use WinMPQ. NEVER PUT A FILE INTO ANY .MPQ FILE!!!!!! A model/skin/fade filter is inserted IN YOUR MAP ONLY, *not* in the MPQ! Let's say you've skinned the Acolyte. Here's how you get it ingame: - Check the path for the Acolyte (Use WinMPQ, or the War3.mpq listfile that comes with UMSWE): The Acolyte is located here: Textures\Acolyte.blp So the path is: Textures\ - Run WinMPQ, and open your map - Click 'Add' and select your skin (it should have the same name as the original: Acolyte.blp), and fill in the path: Textures\ - Close WinMPQ and urn your map in WE/War3 to see your skinned unit! Note: Each time you save your work in WE, WE resets all the files, so you'll have to re-insert them again! ~ Nuladion |

So what's the point of inserting them if you can't save the map? Or does the unit path save itself separatly? |

If you add the units AFTER you've saved your map, everything will work fine when you run it in Warcraft3! But if you work on your map again, you'll have to insert the skins again too! ~ Nuladion |
