the 4 letter code for spells

does it matter what you put for it? i mean punctuation, race, whatever. or can i just go on numbering them after myself like [Mrd1], [Mrd2], etc.

The standard oes are numbered systemactically, but you can use whatever you want for your new ones.

it makes no difference unless it has already been used so its best to put numbers after the first letter or so. You also have to make sure that for the same spell you use the same number for each part

Heres something about codes. Do not ever let any overlap. Thats why blizzard used Axxx for abilities, and something simular with the others on most of the things within them. This prevents overlapping. They act like this for a main reason... the requires= field in the slk can require anything, even another spell.
