is it possible to make a hero build structures, because a hero doesnt have that property in the unit editor, and in the trigger editor I couldnt find anything silimar help |

Guest | In my unit editor there is a line where i can select what the unit should be able to build?.. "Structures Built" There.. just select what buildings the hero are supposed to build..?.. Im using usmwe.. dont know if it changes anything.. but maybe.. |

I have structure build for a worker, for any non-hero unit as a matter of fact , but it's not there for heros, and are you sure you have it for heros? check again |

ok, now that I got it, I still can't build though everytime I order my hero to build a structure it starts building and stops right away so the structure is under construction and i cant do anything. why is that? |

A similar problem tends to happen when a unit with a specific build ability tries to build a building that doesn't match his race. For example, if you tell a peasant to build an orc building, I believe. Make sure the build ability that you give your hero corresponds with the race of the structure that you want to build. |

is there a code so that any race could build that structure? in my case I have a human builder and a neutral structure, its a pain to change everything to human, there must be something I can do? |

Not sure if this will work, but try giving the hero the repair ability and ordering him to repair the building. I think this may finish it. Once again I am not sure if this is the case, and I dont have WE open to test this. Let me know how it goes. Hope this helps, SheepOfDoom |

nm that problem ... i thought of something else. and your way won't work since repair has nothin to do with build. the other guy was right, its about the races. they have to be the same. thanx anyway |

there are 4 or 6 abilities what are race building,you can see them in somewhere in the txts or slks,they are needed in TFT editor make units make buildings(You need to enable the abilities in editor,i think Uniability data should have Undead Build,neutral build etc.) |

human bulders need the repair ability to continue bulding a bulding. any race can buld any other races buldings no problem, but they will use there type of bulding, aka summoning, or human bulding. |

that's correct. if you make a human unit build a building (race doesn't matter), he'll need the "Repair (human)" ability. any other races can easily build other race's buildings. oh btw, you can't build neutral structures, or at least no invulnerable things. |

shows how much you know. 1the repair does not have anything to do with building. 2 to build neutral structures, gotta have neutral builder and it works. 3 i dont see a way to make human build neutral |
