Import the music, should be in mp3 format, then go into the trigger that you want to play it in and use a the sound action "Play Music" then select the song you imported, why are you asking this, you've played sound in your other movies :abomHUH?: if it is imported every so often the file get corrupted and you will have to reimport the file, sometimes it begins to do this like every time you make achange so just restart your computer it helps about 90% of the time.:thrust: |

ok first of all if u want to play your music as a imported sound...so click import sound in the sound editor NOT IMPORT MUSIC...then create a trigger going to play sound and then select your imported song...if u want to use the play music trigger u must go to play music theme if it is in a cinematic thats y u need to import ur music as sound and not music so u wont have to do this...hope u understood...and hope u get it working... |

One little comment, Test map (ctrl+9) ALWAYS screws up the music for me. As long as I keep away from ctrl+9'in, the music works file, even if I used import music. But if you want to do the other ways suggested, just get an editior like www.goldwave.com or nero sound editior. www.nero.com . Then opne the file, then take "Save as" and choose WAV. |

Don't use test map. Minimize wc3 if you need to try/re-try stuff. |

NEVER EVER use wav files!!! They are WAY bigger then mp3s!!! If a mp3 doesn't work, try downloading/importing it again! ~ Nuladion |

Well, I didn't encourage him to use WAV, it got waaaaay lower quality... It was just that it's the only extension classified as "Sound" by the WE, it's not recommended anyways. |
