FINALY!!!!

after a mix with diablo hero arena and diablo tristram vilage RPG for made a diablo2 LOD rpg...i decide to CANCEL all this!

I will not made a d2 LOD rpg for play on b.net!



I decide to go in another direction. MICROSOFT!

THE MAP IS ALMOST DONE!!! (80% done and more)

Dungeon siege system is perfect at 100% like the game!
i add a special thing when you got a bow you can use it with the right cliclk on the mouse!

I just make a very good camera system with a perfect visualising.
You dont have to move with the keyborad or the mouse....all is calculate for direction with the mouse!

Well... I like how your doing it but I think that the hero skills should be taken out and replaced with the new feature (only in TFT currently, I believe) of book-spells.

In TFT you can buy certain spell books and open them from your inventory, it opens like a build menue only it has additional spells to cast. Very handy for this type of map if you ask me.

Question 1
How does the level up system work? I mean, is there some representation of how far you have to go to level up in a certain area, like Dungeon Siege?

Question 2
Will there be Krug and those snake things that burrow into the ground and come up to spit poison at you? Will there be monsters from Dungeon Siege and not just Warcraft III ones?

Question 3
Is this multiplayer? Or singleplayer campaign like thing?

Question 4
Will you be able to choose party members? (Only if its singleplayer since Dungeon Siege had recruitable members for your party ONLY in singleplayer)

Thanks, looks nice but you might want to tell some more features for people who don't even know what Dungeon Siege is... and hope you can get back to my questions!

Well I'm ummmm... stunned. That screenshot was a little pointless and didn't show anything more than a sunset, an image over the map, and a leaderboard. I did like the sunset though. However I am curious as to how your system is going to work. Since I'm working on a similar project only not for dungeon siege or diablo. How exactly do you go from melee to bow would be most intresting to know. Also how your hero moves around and if he has an inventory and how your getting the multitude of DungeonSiege spells to work would be of great intrest to me. I'd love to see the finished map.

Well

1. The level system work like this,

Each time you HIT a monster your experience go up...5-10-15. after reach the 100%, you got a melee skill lvl (for exemple) and this will add you 1 strenght! (im not sure fort his part, maybe more than 1 strenght).

2.Its TOTALY dungeon siege monster with same name. I will not add the same monster with 3ds. Because i want a 500 ko max for playing in battle.net


3.Multiplayer map! my objective is 500 ko MAX.....but its hard!
but i think i will have two version...one with 2 music of dungeon siege and one with new music! (map with music version take 1mo)


4.Hmmm party mamber choose! like a good idea! if i have the time will try this! but now , its a team rpg map! for 10 player
more player = more hard!


DOCTOR DOOM

well my system its very different, i just got one problem with the range skill when using bow but i try lot of solution.
You can see on my screenshot my paladin!
If he got a bow, he can shot arrow and add exp range skill for go up agility point!

its like a system for build your character!

My inventory have now 12 slot with a bag! (you can get this aditional slot bag item in the download section of this site)

And for the spell, its simple.
you can get spell (skill) when you leveling, but if your a mage combat or mage nature, you have to find scrool with spell in ! (its like a item)P.S spell scroll have LVL Require!

Any other question?

i not really awser you in my last post

because i dont want to reveal my bowing system! its so new!

okok some clue!

Each RIGHT CLICK shot a arrow! (i can change arrow by fireball....lightning.....or ice! water!)

so more you click on the monster...more he lose damaga! more arrow flying in the air!

all i can ask for now....

I kind of understand what your bow system does. I personally am working on a map with an advanced system where everything revovles around right clicking and pressing A or ordering an attack at a point in game or unit. Right clicking may be changed in the game to walk/talk, attack, cast spell, pick locks or throw item. The attack can also be changed to do all of the previous. If I wanted to I could easily make either or create an arrow and attack a unit with it. Hmmmm... No this won't go very well with my Mage RPG. Anyway I can't wait to see what your system does.

Ok

just dont like when people have to use keyboard or complex chat message like -attack

my idea is simple, simplified the most action in a map! so all my action is with one bouton, right mouse clicking.

Same thing with camera view, the camera change auto. So, the players dont have to press any bouton because the view is horrible. And the screenshot its the normal view when you are outside.

I'm not a big fan of using the keyboard either. My method can revolve solely around right mouse clicking if the user wants, however they can also make an action work based on attack. Plus there is 2 hotkeys for hp and mana potions and a hotkey for reflect spell and absorb spell. The camera however I decided should be done with chat messaging so you can customize down to the exact angle buy typing in AOA 270 the angle of attack becomes equal to 270(above head view) or any number you type in. This works for most of the camera fields.

Anyways I like your idea of keep it simple.

Well it sounds pretty cool but I have a few suggestions. You should probably raise the camera a bit and tilt it down some, that way you can see so much of the area behind you, and you can actually see what is directly in front of you. It is kind of wierd to be able to see better behind you character then you can see in front of it. I don't know anything about dungeon siege so I can't suggest much about the gameplay. Also, I don't mean any offense, but it doesn't seem like your English is too good, so if you need a proofreader for your map, I'd be happy to assist.

I have another camera view for dungeon like a little more up than the screenshot with a better distance for a good fast battle and for a easy skill use....

its sure the first time you play in my map its hard to control....but after one game its very easy! because the camera follow the head of your heros (not the body but the head)

lol i know....my english is not perfect but its ok for a french from Québec? :P

Yes, your English is good enough so that people can at least understand you, but it is just a little messy. It would probably be a good idea to have correct grammar in your map so it has more of a "professional" look and it would be more attractive to players, making them more likely to keep on playing.
