Cliff making tip

I'm posting this here in cinematics cuz this is where I see this happening the most.

K, I've noticed in a lot of cliffs, you guys just raise it and plateau it. Well that leaves a sort of sharp angle at the edge of the cliff. I think that it would look a lot more natural if you guys were to round it out a bit. It would also help if you raise the land at the bottom of the cliff so its a gradual slope to steepness unless you want it to be naturally steep that way.

I'll try to post a screenshot sometime later... maybe now...

This screenshot is of how alot of people make terrain cliffs.

Next post will show a way to make it look natural.

Ok and now here is the same cliff, just raised a little along the bottom edge, and lowered a little along the top edge. See how it looks more natural? Now if I were to place some doodads on this, it would look like... I dunno... Colorado lol. Jk.

I hope this helped you guys make better maps.
