I just hit the maximum amount of doodads on my map when I'm only about 80% complete, so I got WENoLimits to remove the limit. After I place some more doodads I save my map and go to play it. The unit that are pre-placed on the map start to walk around trying to engage the enemy on the other side of a boundary, when I select the unit and tell it to move/attack/patrol he just sits there. It can't be pathing because the unit was just moving on it's own. After I give it it's command to move or do whatever it sits for about 3 seconds then starts moving on it's own again. The map is also larger than 192x192, its set to 256x256, the amount of doodads currently there are 8446. Help? |

Hmm... now when I tell them to move, they sit for about 1-2 seconds, then they take the order. Even if I issue the unit to move a foot beside him he takes about 2 seconds, then he moves. EDIT: I know it isn't UNIT DATA, TRIGGERS, or the fact that I went over the doodad max. UNIT DATA: Works in any other map TRIGGERS: Deleted them all Doodad Max: I had a backup copy of the map before I went over doodad max. What can this be???? EDIT 2: It isn't DOODADS, MAP SIZE either. DOODADS: Deleted Them All MAP SIZE: Works on other 192x192. Grr |

sounds like a really hard to trace kind of problem. maybe that patch messed something up. |

I'm modding, but I haven't changed anything in this map that requires MPQ editing. I even removed all triggers and doodads. EDIT: This is RoC war, not TFT. |

doas the unit have the wander ability? wierd abilitys? low turn rate? low movement speed? |

Bah, you know what it was? I'll tell you ![]() I have a square area surrounded by boundary, with 1 enemy inside it. (Your only supposed to teleport into it) And I have MY unit outside the region. These are the units that are walking around trying to engage the enemy. When I told these units to hold position, or move them all at once, everythign works, they move right when I tell them to. Apparently there is a bug in War3 that when 1 unit tries to aquire another unit through a boundary, the game sorta freezes, when these units that are trying to aquire a unit are stopped, everything works good. I'll inform blizzard about this. --LOCKED-- |
