Notifying players in game a player has left

lol my map is like the only map that doesnt have this and people get surprised when someone leaves and they didnt know

i need the players in the game to be notified when a player leaves like "PlayerSun has left the game"

its in alot of maps and appears at the bottom left of screen

now is this a trigger or some built in feature in the WE?

hope someone can help thanks

Its built into GoldenUrgs WE.

It's built in...
You just don't see it normaly cause you're too busy playing and the message is in white... making it hard to be seen distintively from the game... If it was red or yellow... maybe U might look at it...

That wont work, cus the normal triggers dont support that. UMSWe might have it, but GU for sure has it.

where can i get goldenurgs WE

i know what u mean only in melee maps
but cant i jus include the melee trigger which enables that without it altering any other trigger? im sure this would work

well it actually works when using UMSWE3.6

but in UMSWE there is a smarter way as they included the event :

Player - Player Leaves in the section - Player - Advanced events

that works like a charm

ChrydGod, that only works if the player actually leaves, it doesn't work if the player has dropped.

player status not equal to is playing

Nope. Thats for when you dont have a player in a slot at the begining, same as a None Player.

Anyway, do a search for GoldenUrg. You'll find it somewhere.

I haven't used GoldenUrg's I'll try this myself too, also, Spectre is right, that won't work for "Player X has left the game", you could however have this at map init:

"Player 1 is playing"
"Player 2 is not playing"
"Player 3 is playing"

etc.

it seems blizzard did not think about this issue.

I don't understand why it is actually working in my map. I mean sometimes, i still have small desync issues, not linked to any kind of trigger but to a building for reasons i am unaware of in spite of long weeks of investigations.

This said, whenever a player laggs and drops, my triggers testing players disconnections detects it and fire properly, as if they just left the game.

Could anyone clear things up ?

Note :
hehe i forgot Golden Urg had them, i used to only use golden urg advanced triggers before i switched to UMSWE. but the problem i have is i don't want to use one or the other. Why doesn't UMSWE have his custom trigger txt files (metadata.txt, etc) available so what everybody could complete it with other custom triggers like golden urg ?

This is beyond me...

it is not really crasjing it but internet explorer seems no never be able to complete the page download.
