Kami- is right, create a Units\ folder in your War3 directory, put all you slk and txt file in this folder and open your map. All the spells are then available for your heros. After giving the spells to the heros, save the map and put the slk and txt files in the map with the same path Units\ |

this is what I think is your problem, correct me if I'm wrong. Your hero can be given the spell in World Edit, but you don't know how to load it in a game. If this is so, the easiest way to do this is with, believe it or not, winMPQ. First of all just search for it on the internet. You may need to download a couple additional files to install it, but they will be on the same page. (Not sure if that last statement is true.) Anyway, go to "open" on the toolbar and open your map. Now go to "add folder" and add the "units" folder that is in you WC3 directory. (If you have done the spell editing correctly it should be there.) After it varifies the files, it will ask you what folder you want to add them to in the map, or something like that. Type "units\" but dont put in the quotes. Now you should be able to use them, but once they are loaded, if you open the in WE, they will be wiped out and you will need to upload them again. |
