I am making a TD map where in the start you choose your element, and I'm wondering what triggers to use to do that. Like, Player 1 moves his wisp onto Fire element, and I want Player 1 to appear with the Fire Elemental Summoner at his starting position. How would I do that? If I'm retarded or something and theres a tutorial somewhere can you refer me to it? Thanks in advance 'yo |

Might as well not make a new post, so I add this question here: I made a building based off the Sky-Fury Tower special for humans, named it Flamethrower and customized it all I wanted and stuff, and added it to the Buildings Built for a builder wisp, but when I build them in-game, I can build 90 of them ontop of eachother and stuff. How do I fix this? Thanks in advance |

What's its pathing map and scaling value? If you make a tower have like 5 scaling so it's huge but only give it a 4x4 pathing map in terms of whether or not you can build one on top of another it'll think you're building farms instead of big *** towers. |

The problem is that you based the "flamethrower tower" off a units in the "special folder". Units in the special folder like Arthas, Jaina, High Elven Barracks, etc. dont have pathing. Therefore to solve this problem you have to base the "flame thrower" tower off a normal building and not off a special building. |

That's called Stacking in TD terms, I think it is the pathing map, if that is set to something other than " _ " then it should work. If it doesn't, maybe it's just that tower? |

Guest | dont take a tower out of special and customize it if you want people to build them as defense towers. They can build anywhere with them so just go and pick like the Guard Tower as the base model and build up from that. |

yeah use da guard tower... Then customize it do yoy got ums3.6 you can make it shoot building and units that make the game look very cool. |

Ive got this sorta problem to, what ive done for my towers (i havent actually edited them just given models, attack SFX etc) is based them of the magic box or the frostmourne pedestal. What i would like to do to save me redoing some unit editing, so they dont have that annoying tiles underneath them and can be built upon unbuildable terrain. Does anyone know ANY way that buidlings based of neutral or special buildings can have that little green placement square and have a collision size so they cant be stacked??????????? |

Did you even read the thread? Base it on a NORMAL building, doesn't really matter what, then use the "special" model. |
