I'm assuming you're referring to taking a screenshot in the WE, right? If so, when you scoll out, due to the default camera angle, it will turn black... You really can't take a full map screen shot, for the most part. If it's small enough and you make a camera, you might be able to make the screenshot work that way.

I would just take three really good screen shots from choice parts of your map and stick them up here instead...

Actually if you have a mouse scroll wheel all you have to do is hold ctrl + scroll up/down and it removes/adds the black shroud.

There's a key combination if you don't have a scroll button but I'm not certain what it is off the top of my head.

--EDIT-- to take a screenshot just press printscreen on your keyboard. It saves it as a tga file in your warcraft3\screenshots\ directory. If you have a program that can then open it and save it as a jpg that's your best option.

you dont need to convert anything actually... just hit Print Scrn key above the Insert key and then open a program (ex. Paint) and either hold ctrl and hit V, right click and select paste, or go to edit and click paste and it will show the screenshot without doing all that converting. :hammer:

pushing print screen creates a TGA file in your warcraft dir, yea you can just goto pain and push ctrl V but you should delete those screen shots WE makes, cuz of my desktop res, those shots are liek 4.5 mb a peice... they add up over time
