SE's LVD arena

This thread will be for showing features of my upcoming map, Light vs. Dark Arena. The map is a hero arena which incluedes 12 heroes, all with some new spells. Custom models and skins are included as well. I will start by describing heroes, so the first will be the Skeleton Knight, a dark hero.

The Skeleton Knight is a strength hero with 5 possible abilities. The first of these is cloak of death, which allows him to stay invisible to all but the Holy Priest at the cost of 10 mana/ second. (Cloak of Death has 2 lvls, the second decreasing initial mana cost.) This combined with Unholy Speed, a move that teleports the Skeleton Knight to the nearest enemy hero, makes him the ultimate hit and run hero. For his third move the Skeleton Knight has a form of Blood Rage, which makes the target attack faster. His ultimate is Poison Attack, which when used charges the Skeleton Knight's next attack to poison the target. A poisoned target takes 10 damage/ second until it is healed by holy light, dies, or buys an antidote. Also a unique attribute about the Skeleton Knight is that he has a post-ultimate. This move requires lvl 7 and when learned makes all those who are killed while poisoned (from poison attack) turn into zombie minions who have a buffed form of disease cloud, further poisoning those in the area.

@mpitaji The ETA is not planned yet, as that tends to get peoples hopes up and if it doesn't happen by the people get mad. But it shouldn't be too much longer.

@ProtoMorph Im not usre I can get one of the whole map, possibly the mini map, but some more scenery will be seen later. (The arena itself is made to look like the real world, so there is some scenery)

Today I will show all of you the Infernal Mage, named as such because of his fiery powers. He has several interesting abilities, the first of which is Flame Wave. Flame Wave has a line AoE (like Carrion Swarm) and does damage as such, when you are hit by flame wave you are ignited. His next move makes the Infernal Mage a very useful team player. For now the name is simply Fire, althought this will most likely change. Fire works like death coil or holy light, healing allies in flames of hell, while scorching enemies. The Infernal Mage also has Burning Rage, this ability allows the frale figure of the Mage to release its inner fury, becoming a large Fiery golem with melee like features. Lastly, we come to the Infernal Mage's ultimate, Hellfire. Hellfire makes enemies within about a 600 radius burst into flames, causing about 250 damage on the spot.

Finally a pic of Hellfire, used on those same poor creeps that where poisoned not long ago. The effect is hard to capture in one frame, but looks very cool in game.

I bet. But, don't give us previews. I can help you type up a "tutorial" or "info sheet" for this map instead, after it is realsed. I will be one of your testers I hope :P
