The first skin to recieve the highest honor is one from recent days. KDEWolf has been posting quality skins for some time, but this one I feel displays exceptional use of color and shading, taking excellent advantage of the original shape of the Mesh. ![]() The original thread can be found here, Details: We are all aware, of course, that this is not purely a skin edit. The flag required model editing to be removed, due to the way the textures are used on it. This remains a minor edit and there are several mdx files of a flagless blademaster floating around. KDEWolf's graphical style is such that he achieves a look and feel that both fits within the WarCraft engine yet lends the unit a design uniquely its own. His shading technique gives the model more depth without taking away it's cartoony feel that is present in the Blizzard textures. Congratulations, KDEWolf, on your placement in our Skins Showcase. |

Hey Drax, I have some older ones, like my Marine, Demon Hunter... could I email you or other mod so you guys take up some and post them here? I know some are very hi-quality, but I think it's better you guys to see it before posting. If yes could you please PM me your email? |

Just send me a PM, KDE.... only staff have access priveledges to post new threads in this gallery, and I am not really taking direct submissions. Once a week, I plan to have all staff actually involved with this section of the forums (the Artist's Corner) take a glance through the gallery, and we'll decide on which skin to post here, based upon the best that we come across. Feel free to PM me suggestions, but just because you're a good artist doesn't mean you'll get all your skins featured here. |
