Adding New Units

So I have been reading the boards and I have yet to see a simple explaination for something. I have seen so many amazing skins and units being created by so many of you extremely creative folks that I would love to to try using them. But that being said I have no idea how to export these units or how to import them to the game for use. Is there an easy way to download these units and adding them to the game. Or is it going to be rough for a newb like myself. Reading half these board it looks like you have to be an expert programer and I know nothing about this stuff.

Anyway thanks for you help in advance!

We can't currently import custom unit models, we can make custom skins but you have to know the path to the file. So if you had a new Blade Master skin, you could put the .blp file in the Textures\ folder in your Warcraft III directory, you'll probably have to create it. Next time you see a blademaster he'll be that skin. Go to the tutorials section, read up on the modelling and skinning ones.
