Question about W3Z Map editor

I'm a complete newb to world editing tools, and I'm wondering how am I supposed to place units and stuff on this particular world editor... Also is there anyway I can change the main map editing window to be like in the original world editor. I want to know what my map really looks like in the game, not on the mini map... Is this world editor only for editing terrain or what?

1) You maybe have noticed that this program is yet under development (v0.8b).
2) Yes, in this editor you can only do some things (which can't be done in the normal WE).
3) Things like:
Quote:
Taken from the W3ZMapEditor Readme
-What can you do with it?
Well, right now, it's still "beta" and doesn't have editing functions enabled. I'm still working on new
tools and the next beta will include some more. So basically, you can open any Warcraft 3 map and use it
to add and modify stuff you can't do with the World Editor such as path editing, high ground level
difference, water level full control, map protection, 256x256 maps full support, maps convertion (war3
beta, pud, scm,...) and much more!

BTW, reading readme files is a good start into editing as there the most important info is given.

Thanx, I did read that part tho.. but you see. it is very difficult for me to edit the height of terrain if I don't even know what it looks in the game... Right now, I use it for map protection, as it is difficult to use it for much else. I can't wait to see the completed version tho... It is a very well made program, one of the best I have seen yet! :D
