always when i try to convert mdl file back to mdx after editing i get errors like: unexpected token blablablablabladgljsh i dont know what to do. i did convert one file but this other file i cant convert and i really need it. someone plzz help me :) THX |

Guest | What program do you use? 3ds? get the most recent mdl export script, and also, sometimes you have to tweak the modifiers on your model around to completely work right, are you doing mdl editing? that tends to screw it up :D |

Make sure you edit the MDL properly. Some converters don't even work, heh. Try using Yobgul's File Format Converter. |

Guest | seems you have yobguls file converter. The main problem of your problem is that you must have made a small mistake, a typo even. The converter will churn those erros out even if you had a extra space, forgot a comma or lost one number. My suggestion is always to edit the mdl piece by piece, and to have everything to be correct before you convert. Looking for the problem AFTER you made all changes is a helljob, which is hard to clean up again |
