Okay, I may be a maniac for making a sig like mine, but I still have my seriousness. This cinematic, E:7 for short, is going to be a 192x192 map, with all the terrain done. Not only that, I'm not following DK's way of doing his cinematics. I'm making a HUGE cinematic, and it will be better. I'll state the advantages and disadvantages. Advantages of make 1 movie: -People can actually get popcorn and watch -It is a smooooooth feeling as you watch because there are no cuts. -You use a huge map to have a lot of scenes. Very easy to do. Disadvantages: -The creation time is longer. -If people don't like the first 10 minutes, they won't like the rest. -BIG BIG BIG file (beautiful music though) The story is simply about 7 Towers containing mystical powers. Each tower contains a certain attribute that is imbued to the world, such as purifying the water source: ![]() I just don't want to ruin it. I'm like 2% done right now :nono: So, whacha think? |

Nice idea, and the terrain looks good so far. :D |

It looks like a copy of DK's terrain, ain't it? As for more screenshots, maybe next time. I'm going towards positioning the second tower. |

Make the waterfall more closer to each other and add more to make it more realistic Overall Good :D |

Well the lack of variety of the landscape is another major disadvantage. But keep it up! I definitely want to see this cinematic done. |

looks pretty good....needs some work on the terrain...go all out on the terrain with doodads, make it look as real as can be.... cinematic terraining is alot different then regular map terraining...look at things from different angels and cameras to get the overall best shots.... keep up the good work |

Looks very promising! Well, if you think 192x192 is huge, you've never seen 450x450 :ggani: Quote:
Doesn't look like CotN to me :bgrun: And if it would, who cares? ~ Nuladion |

Correction: DK's STYLE! The world tree... thingy... magigy... As for terrain, yes I know. It has issues, I know. It is just a beginning shot thing. I already added things on the Plateau on the right. |

I have a decision to make for the introduction scene. I was thinking of either: 1) The words "Sheepinator Productions presents..." and scrolls across the sea. Then, the music comes in and does some camera stuff over the water and coastal areas. OR 2) The music comes in, then the words "Sheepinator Productions presents..." and scrolls across the CONTINENT (like through the forest and waterways and such). While I get some replies I'll just go cook my Cheese Egg Omelette :D... ....with Wasabi! |

Coming riiight up... *gets 10 bottles of wasabi and squirts in egg*. Here you go! It won't be comin' out for a looooong time... You'll just have to wait like the rest like how we are waiting for Part 5. RIGHT, DK?! :D |

Hey btw I was wondering if anyone knew how to make a real 450x450 map using UMSWE, because there's a tile limit that still makes it 192x192 playable. |
