How would i do this?

Ok exacty what i want to do with trigger is this

i want to make 1 building controled by player 1 and allow it to be controled by every players in the game that are in his teams i think i must do it with triggers so whats the trigger that i would need to do it
plz answer fast i worked all this morning to do it and its still not working.....

If no one can solve your problem, then maybe you should come up with a different method. If maps all used the same concept, what would be the pint in making them?

I think when you figure something out for yourself, you feel much more satasfied. ;)

I dont think its any triggers that just give you controll over one unit.. what exactly do you want to do with that unit/building?..

What kind of maps is it?

I can only come up with 2 ideas right now.. create heros around a structure like goblin shop or something.. If you are using heros in your map this is not an good idea because then you opponent can walk right to it and do what ever you want to do their..

And second, we say that you are having 8 players, 1-4 team 1 5-8 team 2 anyway then you could add player 9 make it a computer create a the structure you want and give all players on that team controll of his units.. and same for team 2 create new player (10) and give controll

btw you could also give controll just when select that structure and give controll on player 1 for an example.. and when the other players selects anyother unit owned by player 1 take away controll.. this i will not look so nice in the game and you have to something like 4 triggers for this i belive.. :\..

I know i have a topic on that too but it was too down on the list lol anyway sorry but kami did u ever see these maps that allow u to click on a building then get ur hero.. i can do this but i dont want to make a building for every 1 i can also make the unit control to be shared but it get pretty hard for some reason and when i do this this annoying message comes up

i dont really want this message to be seen so is there a way without this message and without making a small hero and stuff cuz it will make a icon in the top left corner..

oh and theres also something Really Really weird...when i make player 1 (red) a computer then go host my game on battle.net theres not gonna be any computer..its like i would overwrite the spot of player 1 which should be a computer

Dude, go to the Forces Properties window thing and check the two check-boxes in the upper left corner. What you are saying is impossible if you have Player and Forces properties set up right.

Guys i have found it...i just dint click on: Fixed player settings!!!!Lololol and i made a fast trigger that gives all the unit to every 1 in the game

Dude, I solved your problem in the last thread you made about this. Ala, make sure you have the checkboxes checked in the Forces Screen. Please read more carefully....oye. :D
