does any one know how to use the 'move region' trigger? the only thing that is giving me problem is that the region has to be a variable. just to let u know, i am not to good with understanding the variables. so, its kinda hard to figure it out. so i was messing with it 2day, and this is what i cam up with: action set hill= hill<gen> action region - center hill <gen> on (random point in (playable may area)) i didnt have time to test this or add the events. but i think that this should work. i have never seen any moved regions in war3 maps. |

Ok, here's the facts when you move a region. 1. Events can not tell that the region has moved. That means if you are using a unit enters region event, it will register the first location of the region, NOT ANY OTHER SPOT. 2. If units are ordered to move to a region that has been relocated (or they are moved instantly, whatever), THEY WILL MOVE TO THE NEW SPOT. - - - There, do ya see? Actions are good but Conditions and Events won't work with it anymore. :D |

Of course you do can that, but remember, after you move a region EVENTS AND CONDITIONS WILL NOT WORK FOR "Entering/Leaving Regions" :D |

Of course using JASS you can reregister the events after relocating, so they work for the new location. |
