Hoofs clattered the tiled floors of dalaran as Regmar Phoenix, known as the Phoenix, rode in toward Arcane LightStar.
"We have found the package. We were overrun by the Blood Elves and we were forced to take the mystical route"

"You mean you used the Transportal in the midst of enemies?"
said Arcane

"We had to, it was our only means of escape, and the package is fine, it did not get burned."

"You used experimental flame magic which is prohbibited from the Hihgh Council of the Zaharum (yeh, i know). You are hearby deproclamated from this council. Hand in your staff and chains. "

Being kicked out of the council was the worst thing to do to a mage. It took Regmar an astonishing 22 years to finally enter the council. His abilites were ready after his exceeded apprenticeship of 8 years, but then he had to practise in a certain element, chosen to be lightning, a elemenent favored by the council and one which almost every council member used as their primary power, except of course Regmar, who took the path of flames and Fire Magiks.

Suddenly, flames surrounded the room. Regmar threw his staff into the flames. The mages watched in horror as the one flame Staff of the Inferno Dragon burned from an elegant white and blue into a hazy dark thing. A red spark entered the room. Its light blinded the council members as it flew thru the head of the staff and entered the head of the staff. The light was now gone, Phoenix stood there. Holding his black staff with the head glowing red flames.

'I shall return, but not without a vengeance"

He walked out of the room, his horse now battered from the flames. He rode out of the now burned room. THe mages were in confusion.

Out of the corner the Grand Wizard whispered
"And so it begins"
