What is a good map size? I know alot of poeple like huge maps, but that can cause problems like Download taking to long or the game lasting to long. So what do you think is a good map size? |

I would say the smaller the better. It just depends on the type of map you're doing. For my Predator map, which is a versus type, I used the smallest. In my RPG I'm doing now, I used to biggest, cause I need a lot of room. |

It's all about the theme of the map. |

EF, I'm getting tired of you. Soon I'm going to file a complaint if you don't stop. Let's make a small list: AoS/DotA/BotO(BotL these days) = Medium-Large-Huge Melee-maps = Any size according to players. Arena maps - Hero-style = Small-Medium-Large (This is all according on how it is going to work. Just an arena will most certainly be a small map) RPG-style maps = Large-Huge seems to be most wanted. Any other type of map you can think of? Just ask. |
