Hello, as most of you don't know, I'm miyog, and I've made a map called MRP. Anyways its a nice map if you like that type of thing. I won't explain my map to the unknowers, but I have many complex triggers, and now, for no apparent reason this happens: I save the map, but cannot for it says ALL of my triggers are bad. It says things like script error, expected a name. I have never had this problem before, and I will never again have it if I don't fix it because I will ****ing give up -_-a. I have 53 regions, 200 triggers, 29ish variables, and other things. Any Ideas whatsoever? Or should I just go grab my sword? Thanks in advance, and don't post shit about *Sorry can't help* For that is very gay and not helpful, jackass. |

Arn't you the creator of one of those Role PLaying Maps? Well anyways I didn't really understand your problem to clearly, but if i remeber correctly sometimes having custom music can cause these problems. |

Guest | Are you using custom text? |

I deleted the music I had, nothing, yes I made the Roleplay map. I am using no custom text either. All my triggers turned red when I tried to save the game. I try to turn them back on, and there is 20-30 lines of failures, or something. Errors. Pretty bad. |

Sorry if this constitutes as not being helpful, but your maps really good. Very good job with the new race-ish things. EDIT: sorry for handicap spelling.://// |

Okay guys, let's try to stick to the issues here and not worry about a person's spelling, as long as the intent was good. |

All your triggers? Every single one of them? Have you tried to convert to custom text and see if it works? |

Indeed Ares. Speaking of which, I was half-expecting you to follow up with something about it yourself ;) Anywho, are you using an advanced editor like UMSWE? Have you tried opening your map in another editor like WE? I've had this issue before, I received 714 errors in my map and I didn't even have any triggers. I opened it up on another computer and it worked perfectly fine. Try renaming your map/making a copy of it and opening the copy. Perhaps you might also want to look at the .j file in your map's mpq to see that it hasn't been corrupted. ~kharma |

I don't really like RP maps (can't find the point of them since nobody actually role plays in them, all they do is make a town and then cry about it when it gets destroyed (or boots you if they are the host)) Anyways, try this: I think I had a similar problem as this a while back. What finally corrected it was fixing the size of the regions so that were not really small (I made the regions bigger, tried to save again and it fixed the problem). No, I have no idea why this fixed the problem but just that it fixed it. |

how do I know if the .J file is corrupted? |

I have a similar problem, except this error targets specific triggers, mainly ones with units in the trigger conditions. 1: What editor are you using? 2: Do you have a different trigger for every player? 3: Have you used more than one editor on your map? |
