Its been a while....I need some input

Ive been retired from map making for quite some time now.....I went over to Ft and was sure that my map editor would never work until the final version came out. But then i went back, and reinstalled War3 classic, and now im wanting to start this crap up again! :ggani:

What I want to know is what program I can use to make models for the world editor, and where I can find a tutorial on it (because im not an idiot, and im sure you dont want to explain it all to me). I just need a link to a tut, and maybe some suggestions on what Modeling program gives the best results. Thanks guys, Peace.

Edit: Ill need a way to animate the model too...I know how to model, I just feel like ive been brainwashed from all my computer skills. So how would I do that, also....Thanks d00ds.
