Unsupported Compression ...WTF??? HELP!

ok....
(1) i dled JASC PaintShop Pro. and edit skins etc... and when it was time to view them in Image Extractor it said it had a problem with opening it because of unsupported compression... Now i checked it when i saved (under options when saving and it was .TGA) it was 24 bit and had no compression .... WTF is this things problem????? Help!!!!!!!!! :(

(2) i had got it 2 work under 8bit (well did) when i viewed it. it was up-side down and had none of the colours i gave it...

Uh Help!

-edit = also (2) tried with 16 and 24 bit still doesnt come out right.....:bangH:

jasc psp 8 doesnt save alpha channels right, i use it because the tools are better , i recommend u download jasc psp 7 it saves them properly, u can use 8 change it, load it in jasc 7 and resave and itll work, save as no compression under settings

This really sux... Photoshop 7 messes with the alpha channels when opening the TGA, and PaintShop Pro 8 messes with them when SAVING the TGA...:bangH:

NOt trUe ddon't liisteen to himm... listen to noobie helper..... yes save it again....but photoshop 7 = 100% good

OK go to save as....and click on options....then click on uncompressed....that should solve ur problem

Actually, I kinda know what I'm talking about, I have both. The problem with Photoshop is solved if you install the patch that makes it into 7.1, but, strangely enough, the patch doesn't recognized that 7.0 is installed in my PC...
