After my work & my chat with Panto, i have much improved my enhancer. It is small ~60kb and is the WE add-on that gives you the most possibilities ever, you can now change Splats, Animation Blend Time, autocast spell, and MANY more options that aren't available anywhere else. You will be surprised how many new fields have been added. Here it is , give it a try, it's worth the look : http://chrydgod.free.fr/cube/ChrydGo...er_SLK_2.2.zip Just a little warning for special incompatible fields : some fields have been left in the unit editor for testing purposes, and have of course nothing to do with a unit (like some spell fields). If you find an editing field that shows no value at all for all units in game, test any change before using them. Apart from that, it is safe to use the others. dude nothing works in my WE now i overwrited the old unit meta data and when i change map it say World editor.exe has encountered a problem and then i must close.... so i cant do anything.... |

i restarted the editor and all works fine now..but except its back to the normal WE(enhanced)not the one u made... |

Have you tried it with WE (standard) or UMSWE 3.6 ? Strange issue. Anyway i corrected the last type compatibility and updated the link again Regards |

I'm afraid there must be a conflict with WE Enhanced and my version Try to uninstall the enhanced patch, test my version, and reinstall yours if you don't like mlne. This said, you'll be loosing out ^^ I still recommend using UMSWE as it doesn't leave files in wc3 subfolders and is 100% compatible with my enhancer Reghards |

Yo, Chyrdgod, I tried to use your enhancer, BUT it ALWAYs crashes while opening my map, I'm using UMSWE 3.6, too. |

i have the exact same issue with a map that have been made with other editor. Thats strange. Do you have any imported file in your map apart from my unitmetadata.slk ? Regards |

With ChrydGod's UnitMetaData.slk you really don't need to use UMSWE except for enhanced triggers (which I avoid anyways since they cause standard WE to crash-and-burn). |

2 News actually. First i updated my enhancer, and while i was testing it, i decided to tune and improve my Cube Defense NE. It demonstrates custom uberSplats using my enhancer and some other splats added in uBersplats.slk to increase the choice of splats. It also demonstrates the working "autocast ability" field as it allowed me to remove the triggers i needed. There are many other fields from my enhancer(used with UMSWE 3.6) that i used in that new version. It all seems to work a treat. You can now make a custom unit based of a wisp , for instance, and then decide to change its race to human, make it display as special (you need to create a fake custom unit & erase it for worldeditor to show the changes). That is only a small example of what you can do, such as set your movement type to float, allow buildings to build on unbuildable tiles or prevent it to build on buildable or flyable tiles, make a unit targeted as an intem, or make a unit targeted as a tauren. U can also make a unit have a different team color that it's owners, change your buildings repair costs in gold and lumber , change a unit's Propulsion Window , extended line of sight use, AI Placement Type and radius (buff) , autocasted spell on unit's creation, Construction/Movement/Random Sounds, Shadow sizes, Projectile Launch and Impact positions, Attacks Range Motion Buffers, enable projectile missile homing, damage upgrade amount, Change Splash Damage factors (instead of hal/quarter) , attacks animation points and backswing, Damage Spill Distance, Spill Radius and Loss Factor, ETC ............. Thats just to incit sceptical persons to at least try it (remember, or WE basic OR UMSWE - no local files but the 2 provided) as it will incredibly enhance thier map maker's possibilities. Your link for Cube D NE is wrong. You have it as 4.99e still, whereas you wanted 5.6 I've got it now, and I'll be excited to try it out. I remember earlier versions and, while it's a little confusing when too many lights are flashing and you took out my favorite units (the mortar teams), regardless it's the bomb. |

Once again i still wonder why i didn't name it Cube Defense SFX ^^ But i must admit its even worse now with these "AURA UBERSPLATS" . But if you reduce screen gamma and leave in on evening rather than morning, it looks like a nice firework ^^ I don't think i can optimise the triggers anymore, i already did it nearly to the max, converting ALL triggers into Jass and optimizing the functions, evens & actions. This said i have noticed it lags much less since then. Don't hesitate giving me some more feedback and... i might add an improved version of the Mortar Team (i would then need to change the cannon tower that has the same model) in a Cube Defense NE Panto Edition ;) Wanna bet ? ;) Regards |

my problem is this, EVEN WITH the newest version, I can't EVEN OPEN my map in UMSWE with your enhancer, I haven't done ANYTHING to the map with the enhancer, because I can't. Can you fix this, I used UMSWE (Non enhanced the entire time making this map), I CAN open the map in UMSWE without your enhancer, but I can't open it in UMSWE with the Enhancer. (Edit: I DID have implanted files, but I deleted them, and I STILL have this problem) |
