Spell Editing Question .... Big Bad Voodoo

I am making a spell like big bad voodo0.
i based it off of the ItemDefAOE spell

AIda - AIda - AIda - ItemDefenseAoe - 1 - 0 - 1 - item - 0 - 1 - 0 ground,air,friend,self

here is the spell

Bbv1 AIda Bbv1 Big Bad Voodoo 1 1 0 hero 1 1 6 friend,notself

my problem is with the targeting it targets both friendly and enemy. this is not what i want. i only want it to target nearby friendly.

i tried it with different target fields = air,ground,friend,notself,vuln,invu
but still same result.

if anyone knows why this is happening or how to fix it i would be greatly appreciative thanks....

have you tried to make it ONLY friends?
If it doesn't work do it with triggers
