I'll get flamed for saying some of these things, but oh well.

1. Add the 'Ability Unit Value' to all units/buildings such as Knights who don't have one. You added Mana to all Units/buildings, why not Abilities so the mana value would be useful?

2. Have an option to choose either dropdown or string for some of the Unit Values. Things like Model Used, Interface Icon, and Projectile Art.

3. Bottom Left Corner Point Value, change it to like on StarEdit showing you Map position square by square where you are located when hovering the cursor (ie: 128x128 map, top left square is 0,0 and bottom right square is 127,127). If this is at all possible, make it by viewing the different Grid Sizes.

4. Add placement strings? This may be hard to explain, someway to place Units, abilities, and buildings in numbered spots instead of their fixed locations. Such as Hero skills always occupy the same spot, have it possible to place a (#) next to it where the # represents the Box in the Command Menu, 1-12.

The last one is not too important, I've been able to be creative making units with the fixed position of abilities. I mostly need it for custom units to set them in buildings to appear in a certain order.

That's all I can think of for now, I have a feeling I will be laughed at for every one of these suggestions.

I agree with that list, except for number 2, because I don't really need that ;)
What it needs though, is

5. A string or menu on every unit in the unit editor to change their voice. Gah, I've wanted this ever since I had my first Archer Hero always have a tiger growling in the background.

This is just a rehash of a lot of ideas, but here they are:

- Ability Editor: This would really change the current state of maps (for the better, of course) This would allow you to balance games as you see fit, instead of being forced to balance around preset abilities. Even something simple like the unit editor, with a bunch of options we can pick (cost, radius, damage, special effects, etc...) would be very useful.

- Model Importer: No explanation needed, really. I can only imagine what designers could do with this.

The other ideas are good too; these two are definitely the biggest for me (especially the first one!)

#1 thing I want (Though there are several):

FIX DESYNC ERRORS WHEN FILES ARE IMPORTED.

I can't release any of my maps until it's fixed.

I know this is a tough one, but I would love to see in the next editor:

An easy way of adding another race. Pick the models you want to use and all name it in the editor, save it and then next time you log in you have a new choice.

I believe this is something very difficult (I have no programming skillz whatsoever). Just a small dream I guess.

Im Not sure if Anyone Agrees with this but i would love to see the Sentinel Under Units for Night Elf in the Next WE or WE Advanced.

(Im not talking about the POTM Spell but the Huntressess Ability, I Can Add them Using Triggers But it takes AGES)

Is there anyway to remove the annoying limit on text in the unit names and those type strings? Its hard making nicely colored names with that limit.

I think the next editor version HAS to let you use unit variables in events. That really pisses me off.
