I was toying with this idea for quite some time now... making many attempts at trying to put it on "paper" but nothing ever really happened. I have a rough outline of the triggers in my head but what really sucks is that i have virtually NO terrain editing skill. If anyone is interested in helping me out on this project, here are the specs: Story: Not set in stone yet. Right now i'm playing around with the idea that a city was invaded by demons and the handfull of surivors that made it to the neighboring city must help defend it. Genre: AoS / Tactics Gameplay: Hero Selection Each player starts out with a squire or an apprentice and advances through job classes as the game progresses. When a person has enough job points (levels in a certain job) they can advance levels and eventually aquire a "name hero" which is a special hero, there is only one per map and once a name hero has been selected, job classes cannot be changed. People that played Final Fantasy Tactics (best RPG ever) will know what i am talking about. Base Layout Basic AoS style layout. Strong towers guarding doors, weaker towers guarding main building. Mid-section Layout Anything random. No 3-path system... although i want there to be several "main" areas to send computer-controlled units. Very, very weak towers in middle. Victory First phase of game is a fast race to kill opponent's base Second phase is a CTF type thingy. Other Specs Buildings have relativeley low hp to make game move faster as it is acually two AoS maps in one. I will give out more specs if you are interested, so please post. |
