Here is a Progress report on my tft cube defence, when the map is complete i will post it here. All the triggers are now complete, as well as most of the towers. The relese will be for tft 313. |

In what ways are you using TFT's enhancements in particular? In short, what makes this a particularly TFT map? |

i use the models, the terrain, and the doodads, but mainly, it plays on tft! |

I don't want to sound like I'm nocking your idea, E-F, but how is that really any different from playing it w/ RoC? You ought to look at modifying the new spells (like drunken haze, black arrow, hex, spell steal) and working with the new systems. Like, wouldn't it be sort of neat if all the monsties on a level came out with various buffs on them, and you could yoink the buffs from them and add them to your towers? That's a reason to use TFT. Also, from the sounds of it you're prepping this for Warforge's quasi-legal beta hosting, which will probably shut down when TFT is released like it did when RoC came out. Which means you have a month of playing time. When TFT comes out we'll have a whole new editor with all kinds of groovy things (I hope). Considering that, why not wait until you can put on Battle.net anyway? |

i am playing on bnet (i have a legit cedkey, boght on ebay :bgrun: pricy sun of a gun) and cause i can, im also playin on wf, cause it runs smoother :ggani: (i do havea legit cdkey, so its all good) andi will have cool towers like a dark acher tower, that if it kills a monstie, a dark minion rises from its bodie. ps: im also making this cause the cube d for tft is buggy as heck.. |

Don't worry, you don't waste your time, when TFT comes out, nothing will refrain you from improving iit. As CordialSpam gave up updating the original Cube, at least we'll have a FT enhanced version of it. I will also release a FT Cube Defense NE when FT comes out. Then both different type of games will be available. I am very interested to see all the features it will have. I don't take your map as a competitor to mine as mine is VERY arcade-type (tons of SFX, a "kitchen tiles" look like, etc) making it very different from the original cube. Also i didn't keep the game type modes and focused on survivor. I think its great you kept all the original Cube's features. BTW : I double checked it for you looking at the original Cube's Jass script, and CordialSpam definitely used handicaps to set the monsters hp. Funny i used the same method. The advantage is that it also makes balancing quicker and easier. Regards |

i do mind jass :gsmile: ill be fine, i got all the triggers to work in gui. i now must edit 50 untis to have certant hp dmd mana and regen values, see you in the year 2020. |

Done! I wanted a new tower, but i couldn't find a suitable model for it, you did it for me ^^ I gave it a nice custom spell that i managed to do without slk editing called "Raise Gargoylings"... and it raises mini-Gargoyles Definitely a nice model for a tower. I also improved many things in the map, forced ceratin files imported like the sell button icon, but unfortunately i haven't found out how to fix the implemented files issue. I'll keep you updated. I might do the same thing except tinit it black and give it a passive ability that reduces armour to 0. ty |
