hey DK, try finding some other music that we've never heard yet, and something that is quite different from the feel of lotr style music (I agree that lotr music is good, but i mean, all the music we listen from all the cinematics are all played mostly by string orchestra!!). I think you should use some musics that is played by different instruments, rather than all strings and vocal. if you are running out of musics for your cinematic, try using some music from games such as HMM3. when ppl play hmm3, they often do not concerntrate on music, so i believe many ppl don't remember the music from this game. there are other musics you can extract (!!) from some games, that ppl probably never heard about or remember. Also, I kind of felt that your cinematic lacked theme for characters... well I'm not sure about this, but only 'theme' i remember hearing is Thomas's theme (at the beginning of the game, and when he was chasing & chased by some undeads). I maybe a little critical about music. i know you are spending quality of time on music! the point i'm trying to make here is just make everything perfect as possible! p.s. hey can anyone tell me a good free webhost where i can upload my music files to? i got some quality music that I'm 99% sure you guys haven't heard of yet. |
