Besides custom units, triggers, terrain, sounds, and graphics. I mean in gameplay, what do you expect it to do? I know it depends on what the mod is about, but in general what kind of options do you like? Things like menu's, cameras, cinematics and stuff. If you post, add some more. |

Out of a mod I would expect a new experience, something new and unique. Menus are good, but not in large amounts, cinematics are great if used properly, but must not be boring. Other things that are nice to see are good custom spells, skins and sounds (most custom sounds ive seen are crap though, so if theyre not of a good quality its best just to leave them out). Good mini games are fun, but shouldnt be too hard if they are required. Also if it it comes to a sort of melee type mission, new and uniqe races with new units and tech trees add much to the mod. |

Something uniqe and new, never seen before. I'd also like new models, not just reskinned old ones. I'd like a total coversion as well, not just some part, but multiplayer as well. With balanced units. As well as a new editor (Somewhat like UMSWE) with all things accessable trough the editor, see, you don't have to RE-SAVE the mpq files. Ect ect. Regards Dead-Inside |

New models would be good, as long as they were skinned enough to be really different from their counterparts. New spells that look and feel unique, and if its a campaign, a decent storyline. Oh, and grammar. I can understand some mistakes (I make them all the time), but a really good story can get really screwed over by incoherent sentences. Oh, and new unit sounds and annoyed phrases. HI-larious. And..and..zzz |
