Im a noob in doing maps, and im about to finish my first one... Ive heard that there is a way to protect it from editing and stuff... PLEASE HELP ME SOMEONE :D THANK YOU!! |

There is no sure-fire way to protect a map. It will always be openable by someone who's willing enough. However, most protection tools will deter anyone who can't be bothered using an MPQ editor. Despite the recent issues with map protection, there is currently a new protector released by BlackDick that will allow your map to not only be compressed from the casual browser, but it will also greatly reduce your filesize. Note that we do not take any responsibility for what happens to your map should you decide to utilise some form of map protection. Always make a backup.
