PROBLEM - saving big music files

Does the World Editor have a limit on the size of a map file it can save? For some reason whenever I import a 10 meg music file I want to use, I get a load of script errors when I save the map and it goes through disabling all of my triggers. It doesn't matter if I actually use the music file in a trigger... only that I imported it.

Any ideas? Can World Editor only save files that are so big? If so, how can I get around this... I know there are maps out there bigger than 10 megs such as Creatures of the Night.

Thx

Change the music's variable name. It can't have more than 2 "_"s.

For example, if it's Spirited Away, change it to "SpiritedAway". The size doesn't matter...

I have problems with sound files too. I don't really know what's the reason.
When I was working on my Heart Of Evil cinematic I was importing music and it worked fine until one moment... After several savings music files just disappear from the map! In the sound editor there are there names, but the don't play. And in game they don't play either. I checked file size, and realized that it's much smaller. The mp3s are gone! Well, I have to delete all those imports in WE, reimport everything and then reset all the triggers that used the old files. Or there's another way, easier: just saving the map, then open WinMPQ and import all those mp3 files in folder named 'war3mapImported\'. And then everything works fine. But soon, after several savings again, they are gone! And I have to make all that shit again. Who knows WHY does it happen? Maybe it happens when there's too much music files?

Voodoo, the imported sound files disapear when you use the "test" feature in the WE. Just save your map then run wc3 to watch the cinematic. If you do this i guarantee that you will never lose sound files again.:D

i've also had this problem many times... it's really annoying, so i'm planning on just going through and adding my music at the very end.

thx for the tip on the file names... the file i was using definitely had a few spaces in it.. ill try to fix it.
