I didn't know what it meant at first myself but just so everyone knows, the "campaign development techniques" refers to things like mpq editing.

Oh, and I voted for Sounds, since it's kinda quiet whenever I visit there. Blackdick's midi importer is impressive, and I know there may not be very much in the way of exploring the development of more advanced sound techniques, but perhaps something like a tutorial for people to develop their own ambient music followed by a competition perhaps? Just a quick suggestion off the top of my head.

modelling i think, it is a hard subject to catergorise into one tutorial though and there would be alot of questions asked by people who dont understand certain things.

I think the worst issue with modeling for me isnt learning how to model or how to create animations, but how to do it in the right way and then the procedures to get it into the game .... *sigh*

i dont know this part so my modeling will basically be pointless untill somebody points it out clearly lol :////

Mem patching is still highly underdeveloped in War3. The FPS mod is the only thing so far that does anything interesting which is not normally possible.

I chose skinning largely because *I* am better than most who post in the gallery, and I suck lol. What we need is to recruit skinners from places like Polycount or something to jumpstart it up again.

Definitely modelling. I'd love to find a comprehensive tutorial on creating and editing. A model importer is something I think the people want to see the most.

yea i agree with magic really i know how to model and animate but i dont know the restrictions of the importer exporters everytime i try to export it messes up with errors i dont understand so that would be the most important i think

and Insaniteus i dont think thats a fair comment to give man, there only new and are showing the work eventaully they will get better, its just that no-one who are more skilled in skinning really show it anymore, probably because they know they can do it so there moving onto modelling or another catergory to expand there skills ontop of skinning

Slk/Txt's, i still haven't found a decent explanation for spell editing, after several months, although this may not be important once tft is out with its own spell editor.

If i could vote for special world editors, i would, because i haven't seen a single tft world editor since patch 301, which doesn't work anymore, so how am i supposed to edit my maps that i started? And once retail is out, will i even be able to edit it them at all? No support, no support....

slk/editing because i cant find a decent tutorial that will tell you everything about how to do it.
