Do NOT compress skins in Photoshop or PSP 7. They WILL NOT work..... I don't know how much clearer I can be on that. ![]() |

Oh, so you want an even SIMPLER answer?!?!?111? Ok here ya go: Yes you can compress .tga files in Photoshop and PSP 7. GO to the 'save as' and there should be an option to compress.... - - - Now, HERE's my problem with ya. Why the hell would you want to compress a .tga when it makes it un-usable in WC3?!?!? It will not work in WC3 if it is compressed. The .mpq files automaticly compress it for ya a little, but don't do any extra compressing yourself. |

the original question was "is there any way to compress it? maybe its done in photoshop?" its yes or no your answer "Do NOT compress skins in Photoshop or PSP 7" it doesn't answer my question, it only answers part of it. and I answer : Is your skin 180 before you import it or after? -After, obviously |

Here's what I'm trying to tell you: Yes, you can decrease the size of your skins in Photoshop, but they won't work in WC3. The is NO way to compress them any more that allows them to work in the game. So the answer is: Yes, but don't do it. |
