When i add the files with winMPQ...

made some custom spells and now the tutorial sais to add the extracted files into the map... I did... and then i opened my map but it doesnt appear in the list of abilities when you add an ability to a unit.... WHERE IS IT?

HELP ME!! :...:

When you open a map in the WE, it "erases" all "invalid" files within the MAP. The best idea while you´re still developing your map is to use "Allow Local Files" trick an place those files on the WAR3 path. Grab War3Config here: http://scfreak.0catch.com/, it will enable/disable the "Allow Local Files" trick. Then place all your "custom" stuff from your map on the WAR3 folder, KEEP the "path rule", so:
Let´s say you have W3 installed on "c:\games\war3\":
The "pathing rule" for units\unidata.slk would be "c:\games\war3\units\unidata.slk".
When you are finished with your map, clean all this stuff from the W3 folder, disable local files and add the stuff to your map.
Note that the WE has a "always on" local files. The trick above is just to make it work with the W3, just to make things easyer while you´re still on the development stages.
