How would i remove something...?

hi every one im new to skinning and well i got all the tools needed i know how to do some stuff....just need some ideas

anyway how would i get something and paste it on another character etc?i would like to remove the DH's weapon and do some other stuff with..

DO you want to do this to the model or the skin? If it's just the skin just use clone tool, but know that cut and paste skins are not well accepted. It's ok for first tries, but the more sooner you start to skin by your own the sooner you will get better.
