Tool TIp MISSING !? HELP!! :...:

:...: Help, I did some spells and got them into we and then added the files... i open wc3 and then the spells work, but there is no icon or description only- Tool Tip Missing!!

1. Did you add abilitydata.slk, racefunc.txt and raceability.txt?
2. When you added them, did you include the pathname (IE Units/abilitydata.slk)
3. Did you save anytime before testing? If so, you have to reinsert the files. A good time saver (for testing only) is to backup war3patch.mpq, and then add the files to war3patch.mpq. Doing this makes the spells compatible on your computer only.
4. Please read the FAQ above about common spell problems. Saying what you tried and didn't try would be helpful.

the spells work but tooltip is missing...

sorry to say this, but have you searched this forum using the terms "tooltip missing" this question is posted about once or twice a week and it's almost always the same problem... i feel like a broken record.... blah blah blah... no custom load screen and no hide mini-map preview... blah blah blah... add files into map after saving in WE.... blah... add to folder "Units\" with cap "u" and backslash... etc

PLEASE look around. if its a specific spell than that's different, but otherwise i am SURE it has been covered on this forum before.

sorry for the rant (it's nothing personal), it's just that this is starting to bug me. if you have search and still have trouble post again with specific and people will be glad to help.

Thanks, It seems to work when i take of the loading screen and the hide map thing...:D and ya, sry for my lazyness i wont do it again0_o
