I am site administrator of a site hosted by WC3Campaigns. I was the guy that submitted the petition online to MacRadio. And we are trying to get WC3Campaigns's icon link to be added at their Macradio site as affiliates, as soon as the new layout comes out with a Mac downloads section. Our site is an all Blizzard games fan site, but it also aims to support the modding community once we are done with content. Our site will search non-blizzard related communities: 3D, programming, Sound editors, Voice actors. Contact them, invite them as volunteers to work in the modding community, teach them and refer them as potential new staff members of different modding sites. Basically, we will replenish the modding sites with fresh members that have good skills in modeling, skinning, programming and sound. Another service to the community, we want to translate our site to 10 International languages. I have 18 members so far as translators. 5 languages already started last week. Nederlands, French, Spanish, German and Swedish. The point is to announce Blizzard games in many countries around the world. In doing so, we will be a mod/campaigns site News and Reviews Center at some point. Our job is to get traffic from around the world and refer them to modding sites. The more traffic we send, the more people interested in downloading mods and of course to want to learn modding and support petitions as well. But the biggest service I am planning the site to offer a translations service to the modding community. We wont just send guys from around the world to modding sites, we want to translate map campaigns to other languages. That way french guys can play a campaign in their language, Swedish guys can play in their own language too. Therefore when sending traffic to one of the modding sites, we plan to give you back a translated campaign so that your site offer it as download in that language. It is a way to estimulate traffic through the community that may end up willing to learn modding, just play campaigns or just visit often. I would like to know if you would be interested in translating our content as staff member of any language version of our site. There are 18 translators in that staff. I am aiming for 10 staff members per language as a minimum. That way guys can shift responsibilities covering one day of the week at a time to have free time for their daily lives while the team covers for you the other days of the week. Let me know, Thanks.
