How picky are you when it comes to map making?

Are you a big perfectionist? Do you like symetry? Does everything have to be exact? Vote.

Nuh uh, when act 3 of DCM is released, you will see symetry on a 256 squared scale. Heh the map is 256x256.

EDIT: I'm one of the huge perfectionists.

I'm not much of a perfectionist when placing trees and other similar doodads, but when it comes down to the units thats when everything must be perfect.

im more of a perfectionist in terms of the games guts-- code and units. the terrain is never "symetrical" but it needs to be perfect.

I'm picky in every aspect, if the terrain isn't exactly the way I want I will change it, as for doodads (I've been using them sparingly lately) they have to be perfect, rotated the right way, exactly the right size. No wonder terrain is killing me. XD.

You make a lot of these kind of threads, Fyre...

Oh, you want On-Topic? Ok, I'm not that picky because I like some 'randomness' instead of everything being symmetrical and perfect.

Draco, yeah I do, oh well.

I also like randomness, but it has to fit, there cant be areas too small. I was getting tired of that, so that's why I did the symetric map.

I believe I am quite a perfectionist on this. Requires a lot of time to complete my terrains, but it's always high-quality work.

Symmetry is a plague on some maps and a gift on others.

A long time ago, I didn't really cared how it really looked.

But, now I am always trying to get it perfect. (But it is hard with a painful arm)

Sometimes the sloopy ness of something makes the whole thing real. A PERFECT forest wont work... I have to, sadly, take option number one, though...
