First, take a look at the screenshot before you read on. ~~ When you are using ramps, you notice that you can't put them on only 1 tile on both sides. If you look at the screenshot you will see that there is only 1 raised cliff. Go try to do this normally, you can't do it. Now most of the advanced members here know how to do this, and it is actually very simple. All you need to do is create the cliff you want to have the ramp on. Then create another one a little ways away with the ramp on one side, then another with the ramp on the other side. Now copy it (Hit Spacebar to get out of placement mode) drag your mouse over the selection you want to copy, hit Ctrl+c (Edit -> Copy) then go to the other ramp and paste it with ctrl+p (Edit -> Paste) on the other side. It's fairly simple, just play around with it some more. The copy terrain tool gets you by MANY terrain layer limits. |
