I have noticed a new slk (unless it was there before but i doubt it) in the war3patch.mpq : AbilityMetaData.slk How strange... we are not able to edit spells with WE but that metadata slk looks like a spell editor is about to be released for War3 Classic Regards |

I think you will be able to edit spells through the World Editor when TFT comes out, though it maybe only for TFT users. This is one of those things that should have came out with Warcraft III RoC, but I guess whatever helps Blizzard sell more copies of TFT works for them. |

Might just be that when blizzard added some new stuff from the patch they kept in the stuff they added for TFT (that was really what the patch did, turned ROC into a sort of semi TFT). |

AbilityMetaData.slk has already there (it is pre-1.06) It is going to be used with the "Spell Editor", altough I think this "Spell Editor" will only be present on the FT WE. They started working on the "Spell Editor" some time ago (1.04 version I think) and the RoC WE never got this enhancement. Let´s pray this new feature is present on a future RoC patch. |

Maybe crossing fingers will help... Or not. :/ It would be nice if they did as some players (a few i must admit) might not want to buy FT and stick to Vanilla. I suppose they will keep releasing patches for both versions. Regards |
