Guest | Does the position of listed spells in the world editor reflect the position of the slot# that spell takes in-game. for example in the unit editor the paladin has the spells listed as: Holy Light, Devine Shield, Resurrection, Devotion Aura. So in-game does the paladins spells read as slot 1: Holy Light, slot 2: Divine Shield, slot 3: Resurrection, slot 4: Devotion Aura? And is this true for all units (nuetral as well). Thanks for the help, If I can't find an answer i'll just make a map with all the units and compare, write it all down and perhaps post the list somewhere formatted along the lines of weaadders hero spell position list.judging by his list this already dis-proves some things but further clarification would be appreciated. P.S. - I know that hero spells default to the slot they use on the hero they are from, do race-units and creep spells also do this? |

Guest | I've always wondered that myself also. |

Yes, they all revert back to original slots. You can fix this by modifying the AbilityFunc.txt's, but be warned that modified files embeded into your map will cause games to 'split' and people to drop. |

Guest | Is there a tutorial somewhere which shows what you edit? I havent checked out the .txt file yet but I don't wanna go at this blindfolded, as I am still learning the editing aspects of war3. |

Guest | There's another thread devoted to this topic, its near the top (its sticky'd) No point in having 2 threads about the same topic. |
