It doesn't seem to be an alpha channel in any of the wc3 skins, though I know there is. All I find under the "channels" tab (using photoshop 7.0) is RGB, R, G and B. I've been removing team color in the model file up until now, but it takes up alot of extra space to import the model too. What am I doing wrong? |

I'm going to teach you how to do this in Paint Shop Pro 7. IT's super easy to edit alpha channels and 100% bug free. - - - After opening your skin, go to the 'Masks' tab at the top and go to 'Load from Alpha Channel'. Select the "Alpha Channel 1". Now go to 'Masks' again and click the 'Edit' button. Now on the right side you will see a grey-scale color selector. Select 100% black and the paint the skin in the area that you want to disappear. After you "Alphaed" all you want, got ot the 'Masks' tab and 'Save to Alpha Channel' NOW SELECT ALPHA CHANNEL 1 to save over it. Don't have more than one alpha channel. Ok, now save the skin and quit. There ya go!!! :D |
