Guest | ok... ive made Spells etc... But when i put frozen throne icons into the wc3 map file (renaming etc...+ ADDING REPLACEABLE....etc into txt) it comes up blank in the game... uh help... what am i doin wrong ere??? |

Mr Simpson, You seem to have 2 problems here. 1. The first one is an ethical/legal problem of using Frozen Throne icons before its released. If your map is going out before July 1, you could face legal problems. 2. Now the problem that actually occurs within your map, I believe your problem exists within a difference of pathing. If your .txt file says "replaceabletextures\commandbuttons\BTNBlackArrow.blp" then when you add them to the map, it should say exactly the same thing where it gives you the option for a path. If you have already done this, then save your list file and post it, then post your *abilityfunc.txt so we can compare. Eye |

The beta is intented for distribution to only a few people. Using beta icons / models or any other components now is like giving part of the frozen throne away for free. Think of it this way, just because your baught warcraft 3 doesnt mean you have the right to just copy your cd and send it to people on the internet. It works in a similar fashion with the beta. Anyway, you only have 14 days. |
