POD Discussion (my 1st lvl is finished)

I started a project a long time ago called POD (Pawn of Darkness), Nobody wanted to help or should i say was prepared to really do anything so i was left to do it myself... They must have thought my failure inevitable, but guess what? My 1st lvl is now finish (que evil laughter).

Now that the 1st lvl IS done i thought ppl might be more interested, So i will put down (once again) the story line for discussion:

Setting: The horde has been defeated (after war2x) and the humans are "cleaning up" and building internment camps. Northrend has not really been discovered (well, if you searched the librairies you might find ancient manuscript speaking of it) and some terrified orcish refugies have taken refuge there, at this time Northrend is not such a bad place, Nerzul has just begun releasing his plague on the areas closest to Ice crown and he has begun his conquest against the peoples that live there.

Story: One of the orcish commanders, Salgar the Cruel is your primary heros for the first few lvls, He is training a group of grunts by doing skirmishes and at the same time looking for the common yet elusive orc villages. Winter seems to have set in permanently, by evil magic and undead pillagers are beginning to kill everything in the area.

After defending an orcish village from an undead attack party, Salgar goes back to report to the rest of the army, your recruits push on north but are ambush by crypt fiends while trying to fin the troll hermit who lives pn the outscirts of the village after being saved by him they learn that he has been separated from his tribe by swarming undead base camps, he becomes your next hero (shadow hunter) and you help him destroy the undead bases.

On time you meet up with the rest of the horde at a huge frozen river, On the other side (and on ilsands conected by bridges) are undead bases, you are put in charge of the attack with Salgar to supervise. You find, imprisoned a blademaster who is traveling to an altar high on the mountains where he can destroy an evil artifeact containing the spirit of a demon. He says it has been taken to a corrput Citadel upstream. You split paths but the troll (who live in a pass to the north) decide to help him by drawing the undead armies away into thier pass and destrying them.

The Blademaster himself goes with a hit and run team and destroys the citadel but has to flee into a cavern, pusued by a huge lumbering forst dragon. Upon reaching the other side he comes upon the Taurean highlands and helps the Taurean defeat the evil spirtis which are turnig the tribes against each other.

Once again the two parties meet up (the northern end of the pass meets up with the taurean highlands too). The horde decides that it has enough men to go back to Lorderon but the BM decides to continue. Unfortunatly when he manages to destroy the artifact the demon is not destroyed with it and takes control of his body...



If i ever manages to do this a sequal is planned:

The demon in his new body heads towards the tomb of sargeras hoping to raise it again and complet his mutation (become a real demon and not a demon BM) a demon hunter pursues him to it...

(if you are interested in the sequal then i will tell you more about it but my habds hurts...)
