Bowling Multiplayer map What features do you think it should have? |

Bowling, thats new. Like it you get a strike/spare have cool little cins it plays. Have some pop game units to choose from. and that is all I could think of.. |

Oh so you can choose your pins? That sounds like a good idea. I've never done skinning/modeling before though, but I'll try and make a ball. Oh yea, and if you set variable Lives[1] = (Lives[1] + 1) Does it increase Lives[1] or decrease it? |

Guest | think of the array variables as regular variables. if you had x = x+1 you'd increase it by one if you had x = x-1 you'd descrease it if you had x = x*1... uhmm cancel that if you had x = x *2 you'd double it if you had x = x/2 you'd halve it you get the idea. |

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWLING! NO MORE STUPID SOCCER MAPS HAHA!!! :D If you can make it REALLY fun, I'll love it. Also, you should have different characters with different balls, like Tauren will be holding the Strong ball which knocks over pins easily (but slow), and Jaina will have a Magical ball which uses mana but 100% chance of knocking over pins. I would love this map :D |

U should make the bowler rotate -90->+90 degrees then when they use an item (stop rotate) start a timer and when the click it again stop the timer and there u have how hard the roll is and direction. U could even have the way tilt a little and then use regions inorder to have the ball going down the sides and into the gutter or whatever its called. |

Yes Bowling is the next project. I am starting on Terrain, and since I am almost done with Pac-Man hero arena, I will just work on Pac-Man if i hit an impasse on Bowling. Quote:

OK So how does this sound? You control where the character stands to bowl from. POSSIBLE: Some kind of power control? ^^Any ideas on how to do that?^^ Then, you control the ball to a point using the left and right buttons, or I may do S and H controls like in Death Sheep. Sound good? And to have ability to pick bowler and pick pins. And to make strike/spare cinematics Scorekeeping would be wierd, I guess I could just make a leaderboard with the whole score. Any ideas on that? On a side note, I am attaching Pac-Man Hero arena. It may be fully functional right now, but all the heros are statistically identical, and teh only weapon is mines. It seems to work from testing single player mode, but I can only do so much. IF you want, you can take a look at it, add whatever stuffs you want to, and release/do whatever with it. It would be nice if you gave me a plug in the loading screen or something though. I may work on it later, but I don't know, I am kind of stuck. :infth: Ok thanks :infth: |

You should make the direction a unit running back and forth between bowler and pins, and when u press roll, it sends it in a straight line from bowler through the aimer unit! And, for power... Perhaps an up and down unit? I dunno, but I like the aimer idea |

I got a good way of increasing and decreasing power: 1) The bowler will have STOP and HOLD POSITION command. 2) Pressing/Typing S will trigger a trigger :D that will increase the ball's movement speed. 3) Same for the opposite, HOLD POSITION will decrease it. 4) He can move around a given area, and when he's ready, you can ATTACK SOMETHING I DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE HECK IT IS will trigger the SHOOT ball thing. It will shoot from the direction of the bowler, allowing you to be an idiot and shoot to the other lane. HEHEHEHE! |

wow, u sure that ur up to this? i mean, it sounds really hard. but if u do pull it off, i guess that it will be hella fun. but then again, even if it is good, im sure that people will not play it because they dont like bowling. but then again, some people will play it cause they like bowling:ggani: |
