I need Help Spell Editing

I cant find a tour for this that works the one here is a bad link please someone help me!

I have looked at spell editing things and stuff but i still have questions.

ok in spell editing what is the order of the "steps"?

Like when you edit the .slk and .txt's, do you have to insert them into the map before opening the map in world editor, then give the units the spells, then save the map in world editor, then re-insert the .slk and .txt's??

I have redskulls, and I could see all the stuff, and change all the tips and stuff in it, but then it didn't seem to work...

head over to maps.warcraftiii.net. in their tutorial sections they have quite a few very clear step by step guide to editing spells.

u have to make ur spells seperately, and than combine the slks and txts AFTER u're done with the map. Importing them before u open in world editor will delete all of ur slks and txts when u save.

so uhh, basicly just finish working on ur map, than combine the spells after everything is done.

But if u wanna test them before, save the map then import the files, open wc3 and test it... but then when u open World Editor and save there again ill will delete them again... so you would have to import them again.
Just import the files again into the map EVERY TIME after you save the map in WE.:D
