I want to hear you crits here, but destructive criticism will not be tolerated and be immediatly deleted. Constructive criticism: it is to sort out the good and bad points of something and to tell how they could be improved. it's not "I think it's cool, keep it up!" or "It plains sucks and I don't like it". Thank you |

Hello, I am Mr. Sheep, Mech-Sheep 009. I am here to criticise DaemonKillar's production "The Creatures of the Night". I am here to send a message, that this is one of the best cinematics I've seen. The terrain is OUTSTANDING, the characters are unique that's different from other cinematics, and this is simply a good role-model. NOT ONLY THAT, he upgraded his idea to even better; a website! He expanded to the rainbows and actually incorperated his time to make us fans happy. It is good to be good, it is better to be one step ahead. Not only that, DK has inspired us to make cinematics ourselves. We see the magic within DK's cinematic, allowing us to get a role-model and idea of how a good cinematic is made. Although the story of DK's is a bit... copy of LOTR (and the music :gsmile:), it has enough originality to inspire us. I won't be too specific about everything, but here are the traits that are good and bad: GOOD + -Terrain -Website and the expansion -A great role-model -Possibly the start of a new generation of maps; Cinematics only -A great model for RPG cinematics and even more BAD - -Story... It's not unique enough for me -Characters isn't expanded enough to show their true traits (past) and all the scenes for now is fighting. DK needs to make some episodes devoted to some of the characters -STUPID PRODUCTION TIME! I'M GONNA *security guards come* -You make us jealous :ggani: That's all for now. Questions, Comments, Smart remarks? |

o well theres gonna be a significant development in scene 1 about the past of characters and about the story in general which is going in a totally different direction than the "LotR-like" scenes I had. Short, it's not gonna look a tiny inch like lotr, part 5 at least. |

GOOD 1. Camera usage. I liked the angles in the second episode. Especially the first person view and the walking. 2. The new innovative features like the skinned city (ellin something) and the Mistara plains trees. THAT was cool. BAD 1. Eh storyline needs work. It's really cliche. 2. Terrain in the first three episodes really irked me. Lemme explain before I get flamed. The cliffs were raised terrain. It seemed like you just raised it and plateaued it, leaving sharp inclines at the bottom and sharp edges at the top. To me that just didn't look natural. I posted a few screenshots on how to make more natural cliffs using that method but it got lost in the recent crash. But the terrain now seems WAY more natural and I like it. boy that was long. All in all, I like your project. I look forward to seeing it done. |

Yea I discovered that high-cliff feature during the making of part 3 so I didn't really had time to mess with that yet. But Part 4 shows how great I could deal with it :) Thanks for your comments guys, it's really helpful. |

Guest | Really great, great terrain good cinematic making, It was very suspenceful, But at some times the speech was kinda corny and there was a tad too uch scene when they were running away from something. Otherwise everything was extraordinarily good! I'll rate it: 9.5/10 |

-Good theres nothing good about COTN...so theres nothing to say....J/K :ggani: the terrain is super or "i top form" as we would have said in Denmark... Glue scenes... skinns -Bad to much running needs more fights no hero fights ( fights between 2 heros with a lot of spells and tricks...a bit like when u see 2 jedis fight....) the story needs some unseen twists... well...dunno if it's should go under good or under bad....but use the first person cam more.... but keep up the g00d work DK :D |

Yea I know it's a shame there's too much running. But right now I'm tryin not to put too much emphasis on that. Unfortunately there,s still runnin in part 5 since the heroes are constantly goin from one place to another, but it won't be like Part 3 scene 2. |

Guest | Yeah. Did you notice something funny? The only two hero-vs.-hero battles were with a demon agaisnt a Council Memeber. The demon always won. First, in Part II, Hirochima (sp?) kills Lord TOmara with a spell. Second in Part IV, Vul'methor kills Luther with his sword thingy. Say, DK, can you also have Artania die in such a battle, and then, when Thomas prepares to help the smal lgroup of heroes sneak in to destroy the demons from behind, he will have a flashback of how Lord Tomara died, how Luther died, and how Artania died. This will persuade hi mto fight even stronger. |

lol you really want Art to die uh? Man the entire psychological evolution is all around her, she's nearly the main character in fact ^_^ Well I put more emphasis on her in part 5 scene 1, talkin about her past and all. Of course nuthin is official yet, so she may die or not. Don't wanna give away the whole thing y'know... |

Guest | personally I enjoyed the story I think DK has done a great job working within the frames of it. It also does a great job devolping charcters will leaving room for say a prequeal. It is alsopoinoutabl(i love making new words up) that the terrain is beatutiffully done. The triggering is supurb and the music adds to the features and is expertly timed. It is also amzaming how good it is is by how much it sucked me in. I checked it out on Amadesus H's recommendation I generally find most of this sites hosted projects very boring excpt for Hunted and now COTN. By the time I finshed wacthing all the parts I was quite litterally wishing that I could see the next parts it was turely suprsing. Also it has forged ahead and done thiungs ppl never have done before It also has started allowing for other ppl to try out similar concepts. Personally it has challenged me to make the cimatics for my expasion I am making as close to the quailty of COTN as possible. Although I wish I knew wether DK was paying roaties for that music. If he hasnt I wouldnt be too afully suprised if canadas feds were on him |
